The Launch Pad Administration tool allows you to design a Master Menu to organize your suite of Forté Applications into a familiar, easy-to-use tree. Manage your users access to applications and data efficiently. Using the Master Menu, you can create Users and Roles and authorize their access to only the menu items they should see. This will allow access to all required Forté applications through one easy to use log-in screen.

Launch Pad gives you the control you require by easily defining access by user. Users log-in and are presented only the data and applications which their access profile allows. Users need only log-in once. System administrators will appreciate the ease-of-use, allowing them to define user access and organize their Forté applications from one window. The window conveniently groups applications by the role of the end user, eliminating clutter and providing access to the applications that user requires.

The Launch Pad application provides user authentication (user id/password sign-on), and then displays a user specific menu of applications. For each role that the user is authorized to perform, there will be a role-specific tab page with that role’s menu tree displayed. Using Launch Pad will ensure that your users are always running the latest available version of your deployed Forté applications and applets.
